幕末の日本を訪れた欧米人が見た、この地域の風景のデッサンです。
この銅版画は、1860年代当時の様子を描いており、クレポン氏がデッサンを起こし、パリのアシエット社が出版したものです。
題名は、フランス語で印面外に記されています。
